1) Whether any director and/or member of senior management was subject to any investigation with regard to the ongoing investigation by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (“MACC”) in relation to allegations of illegal smuggling of steel scrap materials (“Investigation”); 2) Whether Progerex Sdn. Bhd. and SMPC Industries Sdn. Bhd. are major subsidiaries (as per the definition in the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities) of MAYU; and 3) Whether the Investigation by the MACC is limited to MAYU, Progerex Sdn. Bhd. and SMPC Industries Sdn. Bhd. only or extends to other entities within the Group. Please furnish Bursa Securities with your reply within one (1) market day from the date hereof. MAYU’s Response None of the Group and its directors and/or member of senior management are subject to any Investigation in relation to the ongoing Investigation by MACC in relation to the allegations of illegal smuggling of steel scrap materials.
MAYU’s Response Progerex Sdn. Bhd. and SMPC Industries Sdn. Bhd. are not major subsidiaries of MAYU, as defined under Paragraph 1.01 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
